Tariffs

Dear Valued US Customers,

We’d like to inform you about recent changes to U.S. import regulations that may affect your shipments from Canada and other international locations.

What’s Changing?
The U.S. government has updated the de minimis threshold. Previously, goods valued at $800 USD or less could enter duty-free. Under the new rules, some low-value shipments will now be subject to tariffs, duties, and/or brokerage fees—even if they are under the $800 threshold.

What This Means for You
At checkout, you may now see a separate charge for duties based on the country of origin. These rates typically range from 19% to 30%.

How We're Supporting You

  • Transparent Pricing:
For orders shipped via DHL & Canada Post (which transfers to USPS upon crossing the border), all duties, brokerage and/or fees are prepaid. Your package will be delivered with no additional charges upon arrival.

  • UPS Shipments:
UPS imposes its own brokerage fees (minimum of $25 USD). For orders shipping via UPS, we’ll contact you directly with details and costs. You’ll have the option to switch to Canada Post at no additional charge in most cases.

  • Customer Support:
Our team is always here to assist you and answer any questions you may have regarding these changes.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we adapt to these new regulations.

Sincerely,
The Totally Thomas Town Team
